The government of Rulbari is a monarchy, so it has a monarch who rules it. However, in addition to the monarch, there are eight advisors. To save writing, I will only list what they each cover: education and development, justice, commerce and treasury, resources and energy, health and agriculture, defense and labor, foreign affairs, and all things arcane. Whenever something needs to be decided, both the monarch and the advisor in the specific field need to agree. However, if the other advisors can overrule this decision with at least 5 of them. For an heir to become the new monarch, they must have the approval of at least 5 advisors as well as the current monarch if they are still alive.
In the current state of the country, the public’s opinion of the monarchy is reasonably good, with a lot of hope for the heir Lenora. It is rumored that the war is taking its toll on King Maliduris, which is causing speculation of him passing on the torch to his daughter. The public opinion of the war is surprisingly positive, which is likely thanks to the extreme cultural and governmental difference between Panunith and Rulbari. In less important new, the Valens noble family has been slowly pulling its funding to the city of Bleakburn after the city was heavily damage by a large group of cacklers. Additionally, Theodore Sitricson, a wealthy and influential merchant who was selling small quantities of dawnwood, was found to be working with a criminal group to steal product from other merchants under the guise of banditry.
Rulbari has good relations with Agrana and bad relations with Elwin. It has always had rocky relations with Panunith, which has now fully fallen apart.
With ~415 million people, Rulbari’s population is the most dense in the cities, but is filled with a multitude of towns and villages between them that have the majority of the people.
Fairly temperate with a bit more humid in the west and a bit more dry in the east. The weather is usually consistent, but will sometimes go to extremes.
While many religions are followed and practiced in Rulbari, Sol’s pantheon is worshiped the most. Oddly enough, this doesn’t include Sol himself who has a relatively low following compared to his pantheon.
The current economy of Rulbari is extremely well, despite its current war with Panunith. The latest Alibus Tournaments and the Starlit Pyramid have brought many tourists into the country and Rulbari's firearm industry is currently the best on the continent. The two largest resources that Rulbari has is wood and clay. The wood is the important one. Rulbari has the most variety of wood types than the other 3 countries combined. One of the most rare and sought-after types is dawnwood. The wood is extremely flexible and serves to make exceptional bows. Though it is difficult to find, since it is almost identical in appearance to oak, except for how its wood shines gold when hit by the light of the rising sun. The Rulbari government’s main sources of income are income taxes and tariffs. Rulbari has a roughly equal number of merchants to Agrana, with them each having roughly 30% of the continent’s merchants.
There are currently five living members of the Tumilus bloodline: King Maliduris, Duke Midas, Princess Lenora, Prince Sevar, and Princess Serenity. Duke Midas is Maliduris’s younger brother and is very influential in the world of trade, being the founder of the Midas Trade Guild. Princess Lenora is the oldest of Maliduris’s three children and next in line to the throne, Prince Sevar is his second child, and Princess Serenity is the youngest. Also, there are Queen Nara, the wife of Maliduris who married in from the house of Striga, Prince Cleoss Aincrad, the husband of Lenora who is the third son of the Triarch of Aincrad, and Duchess Daelia Dulce, wife of Midas.
Rulbari is the most typical medieval fantasy country. Commoners usually make enough to survive. Luxuries are usually only obtainable by nobility and wealthy merchants, though some commoners can afford a few luxuries.
Windmere: The capital of Rulbari is seen as the center of the modern world, being the largest, most populated city on the continent. It is home to the Draelince Academy and has an abundant trade scene, given its geographical position. It was once the capital of Flamen before the Pantheonic Unification.
Norwich: Norwich was once the capital of Rulbari during the reign of the old monarchy. The city is almost like a second capital. The castle of the old monarch is now used as a church to Sana, the goddess of healing and restoration.
Bleakburn: Once the capital of Fimori, it was turned to ruin by the creation of the highlands and the fiend outbreak. After the kingdom of Rulbari took the territory left behind, settlers began to rebuild the city. However, the restoration is far from finished.
Labrax Forest: A large forest in the northwest region of the Kingdom of Rulbari.
Naevia River: A river starting at the Noric Mountain range that flows into three different streams. Covering a large portion of land and providing well-needed moisture for the many crops planted around it.
Citizens light fires, from candles to large bonfires, on the 5th day of Quin and extinguish the flames on the 10th day. This serves as a reminder of the Fiendish Outbreak that started on 1/5/2342 and ended on 1/10/2404.
On the day of the new monarchy’s instatement, the monarch is required to leave the castle.
Wedding rings are typically made of wood. If possible, dawnwood.
