Klyque, sometimes called the land of shattered time, is a continent with a strange past. 6 nations occupy these vast lands, including the large volcanic island to the east.
The following is a brief overview of these 6 nations:
The Kingdom of Baeletic has a long and demanding history. The country was formed after the destruction of the majority of Dround and the creation of the landmass known as Ralmindred. For centuries, Baeletic has been in a constant state of war, though with varying levels of severity. Those within Baeletic must be able to endure a great deal and have the flexibility to adapt to any obstacle.
The Cosmidmir Theocracy was formed from the merging of five different theocracies: Zyonmori, Intairenere, Wenavanew, Heltoran, and Ohruellock. Though the countries had been contemplating their unification after the emergence of Valkithris, it was solidified after Zyonmori was attacked by Gepentanor and Eldryannon. The citizens of this nation has unwavering faith and diligence.
Long ago, the land that is now Kyntishr was once home to the Kingdom of Sowtanus, before the monarchy was dissolved and the nation split into three. After hundreds of years, the three nations have since reconverged once more. The people of this land value patience and compassion.
The Kingdom of Madornia is the oldest nation still standing today. It is a country rooted in its traditions and its past. Known for having the best bookkeeping out of all other nations, their calendar and records of past events are used as the standard. The kingdom prioritizes the importance of tradition, as I said, but also sees ambition as a vital trait.
The Palitilis Empire was formed from regions along the past border of Cosmidmir and Madornia. Its formation was caused by the efforts of a single individual, the first Emperor. The nation holds the expression of the self and ones determination to keep moving forward to be paramount.
Dubbed "A Hell Away From Hell", Ralmindred is a volcanic island created by Malec, God of Curses and Corruption. However, its creation was not intentional. The alteration to the landscape was merely a side effect of Malec's true purpose: the creation of Valkithris, the First Fiend. Ralmindred is a nation of demon, devils, undead, and other creatures seen as "evil". The country holds power and strength above all else and views everything as a means to an end.
